| SARKING |
Due
to the large expanses of roof, sarking is strongly recommended.
This also benefits reduction in condensation inside the stable as
well as strengthening the complete structure. In areas of severe
wind or snow load, sarking is considered essential. |
| ALTERNATIVE |
Also
available is Alloy profile clad roofing or ONDUSTEEL, metal tiled
effect sheeting. We can also offer BARDOLINE which is a weatherproof
shingle tile.
All are available in a wide range of colours laid over a sarking
deck as standard. |
| DAYLIGHT |
We
can provide translucent sheets in the roof where sarking is not
required.
To enhance the benefits where sarking is chosen we either offer
a 2.4 x 300mm
polycarbonate panel to each upper external stall wall or paired
clear adjustable louvres. |
| TREATMENT |
All
exterior and ground contact timbers are fully pressure treated to
BS4072/ 5268 and guaranteed against rot and insect damage for 15
years. External panels are finished in an environmentally sympathetic
natural light green colour. This requires no further treatment (e.g.
creosoting) but the use of a water repellent like Thomson's Waterseal
is recommended. The panels are also stainable to a wide range of
colours. |
